Steve comes from humble beginnings, raised in the small town of Lyons, Georgia.  From there he went on to spend eleven years serving in the US Army, where he accumulated over $32,000 of credit card debt. After leaving the military, he went on to finish his degree, earn his Certified Financial Planner™ designation and pay off that incredible amount of debt over time. He uses his formal education and real life past experiences to help others take control of their financial future. He speaks nationwide on subjects such as  How to Reduce and Eliminate Debt, How to Live Within Your Means, Savings and Investing and many other topics.
